My relationships have always been important to me. I look to the people in my life as my inspiration, and encouragement. Although the family I have I did not chose, I am thankful daily for them. They give my love that I need, and truth even when I may not ask. It is with those two things that I have found the courage to face challenges that I may not otherwise have found the courge to otherwise. I have been lucky to find friends who understand that although we may agree in everything at the end of the day we still can find love and respect in our relationship. In my husband I have found my best friend, my confidant , my biggest cheer leader. He encourages me in everything I want to do. He ensures that I am able reach every single dream that I have every had. He is my hero !
Tara,
ReplyDeleteI married when I was 20 years old and I loved this man with all my heart, the sad part was he did not love me. I constantly tried to grow our relationship at no avail. 8 years into our marriage we ended our relationship.
I am now married to a man that is not only my love, my cheer leader, and friend, but a man that loves me and works at our relationship and partnership as much as I do, and when I am weak he is strong and vice versa. I learned what true relationship means...I guess you can say through trial and error.
True relationships take work and by both parties not just one. I am glad you have a man in your life that supports you and your relationship.
